Marco Boni dirige la Concertgebouw Orchestra.

"

“The fascinating conducting of Marco Boni” (title)
- La Repubblica -

“Performances of the Serenades by Elgar and Cajkovsky such as those proposed by the Wiener KammerOrchester and conductor Marco Boni are a rare privilege for lucky audiences.”
[…] “Also to be appreciated is the performance of Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, proposed with pure classicality, allowing the orchestra play yet tightly supervising, according to its own intimate disposition.”
- La Repubblica -

Marco Boni conducted the orchestra with great clarity and essential gesture, a rigour that kept the audience involved to its maximum attention. Also to be praised are his choice of sounds and elegant phrasing, rich in stylistic nuances and cultural references, peculiarly remarkable those to Puccini in the Serenade by Elgar, all contributing to a greatly satisfying experience.”
- La Repubblica -

“Within the seventeenth edition of Mittelfest, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Symphonic Orchestra performed the joyous and breathtaking Symphony n. 7 op. 92 by Ludwig van Beethoven, illuminated by the interpretation of Marco Boni, who dominated the complex tone colours
of the original score with its sober yet impeccable conducting style.”
- Messaggero Veneto -

“An instrumental "guest" ensemble particularly convincing, rigorous and extremely careful
to execute the various tone, coulour dynamic suggestions and most all an Italian conductor
of great musical intelligence on the podium. The Orchestra performing last night at the Pozzuoli Anfiteatro for the Notti Flavie was in fact the Wiener Kammerorkester, ensemble of recognized international importance founded in 1946 today formed by musicians of new generations and conducted by Marco Boni, a great musician indeed.”
- Corriere della Sera -

“Concerto N.1 in Do Maggiore for cello and Orchestra of Joseph Haydn. Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra conductd by Marco Boni has performed an original interpretation completely focused on strings and soloist Misha Maisky. In the second part we have listened to the version reviewd by Mahler of the quartet in Fa minor (Serioso) Beethoven that Marco Boni, introducing here and there some particularities both in dynamics and temperament has led to a sort of confidential spirituality typical of the quartets.”
- Corriere del Ticino-

“These impassioned, eloquently reasoned and beautifully recorded performances are easily
the finest currently available. Stunning! *****” (5 stars).
- BBC Music Magazine -

“… the conductor Marco Boni, with his mastery he will become soon one of the great conductors of the beginning of this century.”
- El Mundo -

“... in the Strauss Don Juan, Marco Boni conducted with strenght and profundity in an energetic and generous performance.”
- Stavanger Aftenblad -

Boni has proven before to be a genial and wise conductor who knows when to let things flow on their own, and this performance further testified to his judgment. It is certainly no mistake that the Cajkovskij receives top billing here, as it absolutely deserves it.”
- High Fidelity Review -

“For many years, I not heard a performance or recording to surpass the lovely one by Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. But this one does.
It offers as much sweet beauty and sleek charm as the Marriner, but also features more lively wit.”
- Classic Today -

“The Brabant Orchestra performed very well under the baton of Marco Boni. The young Italian conductor manages to build a beautiful , trasparent orchestra sound. Boni does not use big gestures to realise the playful rhythms and rich sounds.
Resolutely he beats his way through the score. The orchestra picks it up and peaks with the formidable Third Symphony of Robert Schumann.”
